Guests support literacy while enjoying tea at tables hosted by some of the hottest romance authors from around the country. And returning for a fourth year as Buns & Roses emcee is local celebrity Candace Havens, the entertainment critic for the Dorsey Gang on 96.3 KSCS.
A public booksigning will be held at Legacy Books on Saturday, October 10 from 1:00 - 4:30 with some Buns authors attending. A private booksigning with all authors will be held for Buns ticket holders on Sunday, October 11 in conjunction with the tea. Legacy Books will donate 10% of the sales from both booksigning events to Buns & Roses.
The tea is hosted by the Richardson Adult Literacy Center and the Richardson Public Library. All proceeds go to Richardson literacy programs.
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Sarah MacLean grew up in Rhode Island, obsessed with historical romance. Her love of all things historical helped to earn her degrees from Smith College and Harvard University before she finally set pen to paper and wrote her first book. Sarah now lives in New York City with her husband, their dog and a ridiculously large collection of romance novels.
